music monday: the national

It's easy to enjoy a drive to the coast for a 4th of July hike when you have wonderful company and great music (more about the amazing trip to come - still need to develop my film...), so a drive the the coast for the 4th is exactly what we did... Company: my sweet Isaac. Music: The National - High Violet.

The album was released about two months ago, and a Must Add for your musical collection, for sure. Their rhythms and musical phrases remain true to the signature sound they've created for themselves, so if you're already a fan, you won't be disappointed. (And if you're the exercising sort, I recommend taking them out for a run... I swear you'll go faster...) :)
